Great tutorial. Found a pdf version some time ago but it didn't mention how to subtract sections of the cover like you have with the text and so much better seeing it in action than just reading it.

That was a great TUT CR, my only question is if that was at 300 dpi or 600 dpi and if it makes a difference if you apply the blur/sharpen settings before or after reducing the size of a 600 dpi scan

also, you sound like Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap :)

I always reduce the size from 600 to 300 BEFORE applying and GB and UM filters as the results will be easier to judge when your viewing the cover as it will be printed.

Not sure who Nigel Tufnel is but im guessing he must be a cool dude.
