Sign Your Work

OK some may know this trick and some may not for those who do not this is a great way to try to insure that no one can claim your work as thier own.

so, I shouldn't be able to do this...

That Cars cover is mine, as you can see if you look at the metadata

Is that right?

  Download the high-resolution files here:

there has to be a way to lock it...otherwise i can edit yours to say it's mine.
and we're depending on them not knowing about adobe bridge.

That's the same exact issue I ran into as well. Gladly, I still have my disclaimer (including artist ID) included on my work.

I stand corrected and have updated the tut. I believe it to still be a good idea although there is no way to lock the metadata as explained here http://blogs.adobe.com/jnack/2007/06..._metadata.html Thank you HS for setting me straight

No problems, we are always looking for ways to identify work, the best so far that I've seen is the banknote system but even that can be overcome.
I do think that this is a worthwhile addition, as is including creator info when making the rar/zip file.
But ultimately placing unique markers within the image itself is, to my mind, the simplest and quickest method.

And fyi you don't need to use bridge to access/amend this data, it can be done direct via file - file info in CS
