After having dreams about a serial Killer, Young high school Athlete Jonathan Parker (Peter Berg) convinces his police lieutenant dad that he knows who the killer is. Together they bring Horace Pinker (Mitch Pileggi) to justice. The electric chair should be the end of Pinker, but instead Pinker uses the electricity to transform himself, and come back to life to continue his rampant killing spree. only Jonathan seems capable of stopping him through his bizarre dreams. The two dive in and out of television programs, chasing each other from channel to channel through stunning scenes of disaster, game shows and old reruns.
