X-Men: First ClassX-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga. Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were arch-enemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and the Professor's X-Men.

Escape From New York (1981)
In 1997, the city of New York has become a maximum-security prison. When Air Force One crashes behind the wall, war hero turned criminal Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell) is sent to rescue the U.S. President (Donald Pleasence) from the evil Duke of New York (Isaac Hayes). Aided by the reclusive Brain (Harry Dean Stanton), his "main squeeze" Maggie (Adrienne Barbeau), and a helpful cabbie (Ernest Borgnine), Snake has 23 hours to complete his mission...or die. Escape From L.A. (1996) In the year 2000, a massive earthquake ravages the city of Los Angeles, and a religious hypocrite (Cliff Robertson) is made U.S. President for life. Now, its 2013, and Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell) is again recruited for a special mission. "First daughter" Utopia (A.J. Langer) has stolen a top-secret weapon, and sided with maniacal terrorist Cuervo Jones (George Corraface). Snake has just ten hours to find the "black box", before Cuervo invades the mainland with his armies. Costarring Stacy Keach, Steve Buscemi, Pam Grier, and Peter Fonda, this is a worthy sequel to the John Carpenter classic.

Alcatraz 2012When San Francisco detective Rebecca Madsen (Sarah Jones) is assigned to a grisly homicide case, a fingerprint leads her to a seemingly impossible suspect: Jack Sylvane, an Alcatraz inmate who died over 30 years ago. When her investigation is hampered by enematic government agent Emerson Hauser (Sam Neill) she finds herself working with an unlikely partner, Alcatraz expert and comic book enthusiast DR. Diego Soto (Jorge Garcia), in a bid to piece together the inexplicable sequence of events. The two discover that Sylvane is not only alive, but he’s loose on the streets of San Francisco, leaving bodies in his wake. And even more strangely, he hasn’t aged a day since 1963. But Sylvane is only a small part of a much larger, more sinister present-day threat. Because even though he may be the first, it quickly becomes clear that Sylvane won’t be the last to reappear from Alcatraz.
