I didn't know where to post this so if I am wrong please modify it and put it in the correct forum

Terragen is a scenery generator, created with the goal of generating photo realistic landscape images and animations. It is available for Windows and the Mac OS. At this stage in its development, Terragen is free for personal, non-commercial use.

I'm not impressed but Photoshop and higher Paintshop Pro version users should find this easier than I did problem. You will need a lot of RAM if you are going to generate at the highest quality and larger size images.

It's worth a look anyway as it is free for personal use
