How to install 'Custom Shape' Sets for use in Adobe Photoshop CS5 or higher. Running Window's 8, 8.1 or 10

Due to Windows folder permissions, it may show corrupt or empty rar's if you copy the rar's directly to the adobe folders and try to extract.

So first.

Create a temp folder in your download folder, move the rar's to the folder and extract the files.
Then copy the extracted files to your Custom Shapes Directory

Most commonly found at

64-Bit
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CSx (64 Bit)\Presets\Custom Shapes\

and(or)

32-Bit
C:\ Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CSx\Presets\Custom Shapes\

Load will not work in CS5 (32 or 64-Bit) or Higher with these .CSH files

• Once you have copied the desired files to the correct location(s), open Photoshop, and choose the 'Custom Shape' tool (found at the bottom of the list of available standard shapes, i.e. square, elipse, etc.)
• Once you have this tool selected, go to choose a shape from the drop down box at the top, then click arrow as shown in pictures and select Append

Custom Shapes (Loading)
Here is how to load ready to use downloaded Custom Shape .csh files within Photoshop and ImageReady.
Go to the downloads page and select one of the Custom Shapes and follow along with this simple procedure.
Option One
1. Close Down Photoshop.
2. Uncompress the file to your Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop X\Presets\Custom Shapes folder (Adobe Photoshop X been your version of Photoshop)
3. Reload/Start Photoshop
4. Start a New Document
5. Select the Custom Shape Tool (U) from the Toolbar.
6. From the Options Bar Select the Preset Picker (Encircled Red), then from the Preset Picker Panel select its menu command (Encircled Green), and from the list you should see the newly added Custom Shapes.
