Moire Reduction
4 Attachment(s)
OK quicky tutorial on dealing with Moire, again apologies for the accent and for some reason during the tut i kept saying "printers" instead of "scanners", think you were all making me nervous.
The file is for Windows Media, any opinions, questions please leave feedback, enjoy. |
Nice tutorial there CR. The only thing that could be added is the use of other filters but that might be better reserved for your next one "Advanced Scanning", got a release date on that one yet? imdb has nothing.

Very good CR. Helpful as ever. Bedtime stories with CR next perhaps ?

|
excellent, always wondered what to do about moire.
many thanks man DD |
Great tutorial. Found a pdf version some time ago but it didn't mention how to subtract sections of the cover like you have with the text and so much better seeing it in action than just reading it.
Many thanks - very, very useful. |
That was a great TUT CR, my only question is if that was at 300 dpi or 600 dpi and if it makes a difference if you apply the blur/sharpen settings before or after reducing the size of a 600 dpi scan
also, you sound like Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap :) |

Not sure who Nigel Tufnel is but im guessing he must be a cool dude. |
